22. Making low sec profitable again? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Edited by: Mankirks Wife on 06/09/2008 04:17:28 Mining in lowsec already is profitable if you know where to look, which is in gravimetric exploration sites. Back when I flew a retriever and my alt a T1 hauler I'd find these, mine them out, an...

23. Jespet....Is it worth it! - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Jaspet is the single least valueable ore in the entire game. Right now due to a great disturbance in the f.. drone regions it's running a lot higher than usual, but even so that's only pushed it up to being the 2nd crappiest ore in all of New Eden...

24. Zydrine price steadily rising - why? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Clair Bear Think of it as a buying opportunity for empire ores. If you're talking about Jaspet, even with the recent runup in prices (which I'm showing is only about 25%, and only over the last three weeks or so, nothin...

I was told some drone alloy yields were changed with EA - does anyone have a link (or can copy and paste the info) on what the current mineral yields are? Thanks in advance! ---

26. N00b mining question -- Refining: Am I missing something? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Also mineral buy order prices out in the sticks tend to be much lower than in market hubs. Generally refiners will buy your ore in good mining systems, refine it (perfectly), load it all up in a freighter and either sell it directly to a producer...

27. Freight containerrs and POS's - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Is it possible to transfer a general freight container into a POS corp hangar array? I've heard no, and I've also heard it was a bug that got fixed so I'm not sure. Also, is there a secure / audit log version of a freight container (or something ...

28. Salvaging T2 Ship Wrecks - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Ihmen Shank I have salvaging 3. You need salvaging 3 to salvage T2 wrecks. So at that level you only have a 5% chance to successfully salvage per attempt. ---

Edited by: Mankirks Wife on 10/08/2008 16:34:47 You have to watch the markets. Right now Scordite is king where I'm at, followed by Veld and Plag. Here's a table since I'm feeling generous... DateTritPyeriteMexallonIsogenZydrineNocxiumMeg...

The price of Morphite is up 42% over the last month (in Oursulaert). Megacyte is up sharply as well (15%). Something going on I'm not aware of? ---

31. Profit margin: WhatÆs your magic number? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I don't manufacture, I do ore trading/refining. I shoot for 10% (that's about 25-30 mil on a freighter full of trit), but I'll go all the way down to break-even on mex and above as long as I can move enough volume to make it worth my while. ---

32. Trit Price - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Well.. my market's doing a bit better (2.67), but still down 16% from a month ago. Veld is still a smidge better than Scordite but behind Plag now. Jaspet and Pyro are still garbage though. ---

35. Trit Price - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Trit in Oursulaert (where I trade at, I refuse to go to Jita) spiked at about 3.1 / unit just after EA and has fallen steadily since then, sitting at about 2.7 right now. I think the surge in Trit prices made everyone go nuts mining it, and now t...

36. What do I do when I mine Ice!? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
